It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Surface of Mason, West Virginia, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Delores Surface to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eula Odegard and Emery Haggy; her siblings, Lloyd Haggy, Gar Haggy and Jean Norton; and her siblings-in-law, Harold Norton, Brenda Haggy and Dale Gum.
She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley Meadows (Harold) of Mason, Ruby Haggy Gum of Tenn, Jack Haggy (Janice) of Pomeroy and Ernie Haggy of Pomeroy; her children, Diana Johnson Rucker and Keith Lynch (Tammy) of Point Pleasant; and her grandchildren, Rick Johnson (Shirael) and Letart.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home (264 S 2nd Ave, Middleport, OH 45760). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Delores's Name to the Emmogene Dolin Jone Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Rd. Huntington, WV 25702.
