He was predeceased by : his parents, James Earl Burbridge and Ethel Blanche Burbridge (Mayfield); his wife Mary Catherine Burbridge; his sisters, Roberta Burbridge and Rena Burbridge; and his nephew Michael Burbridge.

He is survived by : his children, Denise Wolfe (Dallas) of Kingwood, Stephen Burbridge (Toni) of Bruceton Mills and Scott Burbridge (Angel Travis) of Greer, SC; his sister Doloris Martin of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer Howell (Stephen Howell) of Bruceton Mills, Dr. Rebecca Burbridge (Amanda Hemmerich), Mitchell Hartley of Pittsburgh, Christopher Hartley (Summer) of Westover and Dallas "DJ" Wolfe (Jana); and his great grandchildren, Adam Howell, Emma Howell, Myles Howell, Dal Wolfe, Charlotte Wolfe, Brooks Burbridge and Jacob Layne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Field Funeral Home (10537 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Masontown, WV 26542). A prayer was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Zita Catholic Church.
