She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ira and Ercelle Richmond Adkins; her husband Robert Buckland; and her brothers, Charles Adkins and Jimmy Adkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Bowden (Ira) of Princeton, WV and Valerie Murrell (Wayne) of Roanoke, VA; her sisters, Dorothy Kincaid of Palmyra, VA and Berthena Adkins of Sandstone, WV; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Bowden, Dwayne, Aliyah, Kayla and Mya Murrell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; friends.
