It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Riggs of Middlebourne, West Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd Owens and Cronie Lamp Owens Summers; her husband George Riggs; her son Thomas Brian; and her siblings, Pearl Dawson, Alice Brightwell, Edith Owens and Junior Owens.

She is survived by : her children, Bill Riggs (Tammy) of Alma, WV, Bob Riggs of Middlebourne, WV, Julia Murray (Randy) of Middlebourne, WV and Elizabeth Riggs (Orren) of Middlebourne, WV; her sister Shirley Wilkinson; her grandchildren, Megan Ancell (Jason), Lauren Matthews (Shane) and Shane Murray (Brandi); and her great grandchildren, Madison, Landon, Aleeah, Lakyn, Izzie and Jax. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
