With solemn reverence, we commemorate Betty June Stephens of Mineral Wells, West Virginia, whose life came to an end on June 24, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph J. Melrose and Lena Robinson Melrose; her husband Jack Stephens; her son Scott Stephens; and her siblings, Lettie Morris (Bob), JoAnn Wolfe (Russell), Frank "Freel" Melrose and Mark Melrose (Wanda Lou).
She is survived by: her daughter Marqueta Stephens of Parkersburg; her daughter-in-law Linda Stephens of Mineral Wells; her granddaughters, Anne McCalla (Paul), Jill Huizenga (Kurt) and Kim Caldwell (Justin); her great grandchildren, Nate, Jake Huizenga and Conor Caldwell; and her sister-in-law Helen Melrose. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lambert Tatman Funeral Home (2333 Pike St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
