With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Veldra Wayne Parsons of Mineral Wells, West Virginia, born in Kenna, West Virginia, who passed away on February 2, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Otho Parsons and Pearl Redman Skeen; his wife Evalene Skeen Parsons; his stepfather Kermit Skeen; his sister Ilene Parsons Skeen; and his son Gregory Parsons.

He is survived by : his children, Phillip Parsons (Katie) of Parkersburg, WV, Doug Parsons (Aryel) of Rippon, WV and Belinda Sheridan of Parkersburg, WV; his grandchildren, Phillip W. Parsons, II (Becky) of Parkersburg, WV, Christin Parsons Smith (Jason) of Hilliard, OH, John Sheridan (Jacqueline) of Parkersburg, WV, Kelly Sandy (Jeremy) of Washington, WV, Kyle Hewitt (Meghann Mikluscak) of Canonsburg, PA, Jessica Jarvis (Josh) of Upper Marlboro, MD and Logan Parsons of Sterling, VA; and his great grandchildren, Callie, Paige Parsons, Paxton, Cooper Smith, Brooke, Grace, Derek Sandy, Olivia, Sadie Hewitt and Brinsley Sheridan.
