He was predeceased by : his parents, Dan Eates and Gaetana Eates; and his siblings, Nicholas Eates, Angeline Eates, Mary Eates, Dominick Eates and Michael Eates.
He is survived by : his significant other Ann DeMary Eates; his brother Anthony (Lucy Eates) of Fairmont; his nieces and nephews, James A. DeMary, Joan M. Aresteh, Antoinette Eates (David Habenstreit), Monica (Mike Kelly), Michele (Keith Lewis), Anthony Eates (Jenifer Hadley), Patti (JT Hodges), Danny (Frances Eates) and Susan Maple of Fairmont, WV; his cousins, Patti, Brian Evans, Betty Ann DeMary, Michael David, Beth DeMary, Robert DeMary, Kathy DeMary, Ruth DeMary and Mary Jane DeMary; his close friend Linda Bonfantino; and his children, Vincent Joseph, Barbara Belldina, Denise, Mike Roncone, Joe Welty, Sharon Core, Deacon David and Martha Lester.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation, but private services and committal will be held for the immediate family.
