With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orval V. Satterfield Jr. (Monongah, West Virginia), who passed away on April 10, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parent Orval Vernon; his son Jeffrey Vernon Satterfield; and his siblings, Donald Neil Satterfield, Mary Virginia Lipinski and Eleanor Louise Kennedy.

He is survived by : his parent Bessie Mae Davidson Satterfield; his wife Betty Ann Satterfield; his son Jerry Satterfield; his grandchildren, Lindsey Satterfield, Brittany Satterfield, Trey Satterfield, Gannon Satterfield, Peyton Satterfield and Justin Satterfield; and his siblings, Steven "Bucky" Satterfield (Rose) of Charleston and Violet Irene Thompson of Worthington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
