We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2020, at the age of 70, Sanford Austin Carr of Monongah, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Sanford Carr and Alice Daisy Sheppard; his grandson Noah Carr; his parents-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Knobel; his stepmother-in-law Lorraine Knobel; and his siblings-in-law, Blenda Parker and Robert Knobel.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Carr; his children, Tonia Posten (Bill) of Monongah and Bryan Carr (Mariah) of Monongah; his grandchildren, Tyler Carr, Teala Jesseman (David), Patrick Carr, Gabriel Carr, Peyton Taylor and Raquel Taylor; his great grandchild Roselin Jesseman; his siblings, Ronnie Carr (Karen) of Fairmont and Debbie Mays (Jim) of Fairmont; his cousin Dordie Sheppard; his siblings-in-law, Charlie Parker, Nancy Dorden (Tom), Jackie Price (Gary) and Terry Miconi; his friends, Danny DeNoon, Rick Sypult, John Palmer and Marlene Poston; and his aunt Maxine Sheppard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
