With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Brooks (Montgomery, West Virginia), who passed away on June 17, 2025 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Brown and Ida Mae Brown. She is survived by: her sons, John H. Craig III and Edward O. Craig Sr.; her daughter-in-law Bobbie J. Craig; her sister Maggie Simpkins (Pattycake); her nephews, Thomas Brown and Arthur Simpkins; and her grandchildren, Jaylun, Dejannee, EJ, Jordan, Zakhi, Sonnylee and Ethen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Johns Missionary Baptist Church (141 Morris Crk Rd, Montgomery, WV 25136). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
