With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carolyn Eloiuse (Jewell) Haines of Moorefield, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Glenn and Beatrice Ulma Jewell (Likens); her husband Larry Roger Haines, Sr.; her siblings, Paul Jewell, Harold "Bud" Jewell and Wynona Louise; her aunt Nazelrod; her granddaughter Britny Nicole Pavan-Bergdoll; and her siblings-in-law, Sue Jewell and Charles Crabtree.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marcia Shore of Winchester, TN and Carla Bergdoll (Rick) of Moorefield, WV; her stepson Larry Haines, Jr. (Glenda) of Hendersonville, NC; her grandchildren, Amy Shore, Jenny Shore, Christi Shore and Micah Shore; and her sister-in-law Anna Jewell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
As her health declined, she found peace in watching sermons on the television and would often donate money to her "tv preachers" in an effort to stay connected.
