She was predeceased by: her parents, Acie Whetzel and Irene Whetzel (Dove); and her husband Gary R. Funk. She is survived by: her sons, Gary R. Funk Jr. of Rio, WV, Richard L. Funk of Broadway, VA and Randy L. Funk of Moorefield, WV; and her siblings, Elaine Fulk of Broadway, VA, Brenda Shaffer of Timberville, VA., Buddy Whetzel of Crider, VA, Wayne Whetzel of Broadway, VA, Earl Whetzel of Broadway, VA, Melvin Whetzel of Mathias, WV and Shorty Whetzel of Mt. Crawford, VA.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid 19, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
