She was predeceased by: her parents, George Abel High, Sr. and Beulah Catherine Miller High; her husband David Edward Smith, Jr.; her daughter Pamela B. Smith; and her sister Clara Isabelle Wratchford.
She is survived by: her son David L. Smith (Nancy) of Martinsburg, WV; her siblings, George A. High, Jr. (Vickie) of Purgitsville, WV and Peggy Jo High of Purgitsville, WV; her grandchildren, Sara L. Smith, Christina M. Smith and David M. Smith; and her great grandchild Carson E. Whetzel.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private graveside services will be held at the Green Hill Cemetery, Purgitsville, WV.
