He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette and Alma Rush (Ramsey); and his brother Barry "Root" A. Rush. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Rush (Singleton); his children, Amanda Wine of Orlando, WV and Jheri Hostuttler of Sutton; his grandchildren, Angel, Akia, Tiana, Alex and Aiden; and his sisters, Peggy Shawn Woodruff (Ken) of Brooksville, FL and Connie Knicely of Buckhannon. He is also survived by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, siblings and friends.
