She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmer "Mopie" Cornell and Ethel Cornell (Turner); her husband George W. "Bill" Murphy; her brothers, Wayne Cornell and Larry Cornell; and her son-in-law Bill Violett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Shobe (Terry) of Petersburg, WV, Millie Murphy of Strasburg, VA and Melissa Violett; her grandsons, Ryan Lewis (Aubrey) of Albuquerque, NM and Briton Shobe (Fiance Nicole Cain); her great grandchild Kyler Shobe; and her sister-in-law Gail Cornell of Dusseldorf.
