She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Joseph Pierson and Julia Ann Cunningham Pierson; and her husband Marshall Gilkerson. She is survived by: her sons, Ronnie Adkins (Sharon) of Ocala, FL, Donnie Adkins (Debbie) of Beckley, WV and Chuck Adkins (Wendy) of Moorefield, WV; and her stepson Paul Gilkerson of Elkins, WV. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
