He was predeceased by: his father Albert "Manuel" Russell; and his siblings, Kelly "Bear" Cole Sowell and Vernon Mathew "Pete" Cole. He is survived by: his mother Jacqueline "Jackie" Frances Cole Russell of Moorefield, WV.; his children, Michael Todd Cole Jr. of Huntington, WV, Mikala Cole of Hagerstown, MD, Kearra Cole of Martinsburg, WV and Ieesha Cole of Keyser, WV; his siblings, Terry Cole Vargas (Robert) of Bunker Hill, WV, Robin Cole of Pennsylvania and Tyler Russell (Patricia); and his nieces, Shanon, Kylita and Jarell. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
