It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Franklin Shockey of Moorefield, West Virginia, who passed away on September 15, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Franklin Shockey and Katie Flo Wolfe Shockey; and his brother Roger. He is survived by: his wife Gathilee Sherman Shockey; his sons, Bobby Shockey (Lisa) of Wardensville, WV, Bruce Shockey (Tayloria), Gary Shockey (Rosie), Steve Shockey (Barb) of Moorefield, WV and Mike Shockey (Gail) of Petersburg, WV; his siblings, Eleanor Orndorff (Jeff) of Columbia, MD, Charlotte Crites of Moorefield, WV, Rebecca Shockey of Moorefield, WV, Susan Whetzel (Freddy) of Moorefield, WV, Kenny Shockey (Lavaughn) of Moorefield, WV, Paul Shockey (Laura Jean) of Moorefield, WV and Harry Shockey (Teri) of Moorefield, WV; and his aunt Phyllis Wolfe.
