He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel Franklin Rice and Hazel Hewitt Rice of Virginia; his wife Mary Ann Nevera Rice; his sons, Wayne Joseph Rice and Dale Thomas Rice; and his brother-in-law James Paul Livengood.
He is survived by : his children, Madonna Rice of Washington, PA, Leigh Ann McCulty (Matthew) of Laughlintown, PA and Scott Rice (Paula) of Fairview; his daughter-in-law Judy Rice of Virginia; his brothers, Dave Rice of California and Ed Rice (Becky) of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Dale Thomas Rice II, Autumn Rice, Amira Maroulis, Lanigan McCulty, Arison McCulty and Mariana McCulty; and his sister-in-law Josephine Livengood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
