He is survived by : his wife Joyce Ann Greathouse Lewis; his daughters, Patricia Adams (Richard) of Hurricane, WV and Laura Felix of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Kacie Titchenell (Kenneth Titchenell, Jr.) of Morgantown, Daniel Felix of Manassas, VA, Kelcie Adams of Kentucky, Christopher Felix of Manassas, VA, Faith Adams of Morgantown, Selena Felix of Manassas, VA, Hope Adams of Hurricane, WV and Richard Adams, II of Hurricane, WV; and his siblings, James Lewis of Independence, Bill Lewis of Independence, Evelyn Sapp of Point Marion, PA and Theresa Zinn of Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smith Funeral & Cremation Care (108 Holland Ave, Westover, WV 26501). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
