She was predeceased by: her parent Wayman Newman; her daughters, Patricia Bunnell, Sandra Bunnell and Julie Hall; her granddaughter Crystal Smerka; and her siblings, Ronnie Newman and Shirley Reed.
She is survived by: her parent Lucille Newman; her husband David O. Bunnell; her children, David L. Bunnell (Patricia) and Janet Hawkinberry (Glenn); her sister Genevieve Everly; and her sister-in-law Linda Henry. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
