The memory of Dorthea Jean Pixler of Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Danley Sr. and Fannie Danley (Blosser); her husband Harold Pixler; and her brother Roy Danley, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Donna Pixler-Davis (Delbert); her granddaughter Daylene of Sneads Ferry; her sister-in-law Erma Danley; her nephew Mark Danley (Debbie); her niece Shelia Bolyard (Jay) of Morgantown; her cousin Dortha Ann Boyd of Huntsville; and her caregiver Dawn Dulaney.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hastings Funeral Home, Inc. (153 Spruce St, Morgantown, WV 26505). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
