It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edgar Clayton Fowler Sr. (Morgantown, West Virginia), who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ellis Fowler and Goldie Fowler (Everly); his wife Elva Helen Fowler (Pugh); his children, Karen, David and Gerald Fowler; his granddaughter Elizabeth; his siblings, Theodore Fowler (Teddy Bear) and Dorothy M. Fowler (Whipkey); and his brother-in-law Lester Whipkey.

He is survived by : his sons, Roger Fowler (Rosemary), Pat Fowler and Edgar Fowler, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jeremiah (Noel), Felicia (Aaron), Brittany, Dustin, Sommer, Wyatt and Megan; his great grandchildren, Helena and Katie; and his brothers, Willis "Butch" Fowler (Sharon), Eldon Fowler and Emil Fowler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
