Helen Frances Skalecki Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Frances Skalecki (Morgantown, West Virginia), born in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, George, Andrew, Steve, John, Jim Duski, Dorothy Rowan, Bill Garcher and Eva Duski.
She is survived by: her children, Christe Auerswald, Teddy Skalecki (Georgia), Taressa Vollmar (John) and Sharbie Higuchi (Darren); her grandchildren, Tonya Hopper (Rick), Daria Lane (John), Lauren Budyta, Sarah Kelly (Dan), Logan Vollmar (Valerie), Vicari Vollmar, Sophie Stanley (Nick) and Sean Higuchi; and her siblings, Edward Joseph Duski and Anna Mae Martin.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church (3346 University Ave, Morgantown, WV 26505). A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
