It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kim Bryan Carey (Morgantown, West Virginia), born in Follansbee, West Virginia, who passed away on May 12, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Carey and Marion Davis Carey; his son Bryan Michael Carey; his brother-in-law Ted Tomasovich; and his parents-in-law, Wanda and Mike Tomasovich.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Tomasovich Carey; his son Eli John Carey of Morgantown; his granddaughter Cassandra Neely (Dave); his great grandchildren, Jack of Nappanee, IN and Teddy Neely of Nappanee, IN; his brother Richard Carey (Debbie) of Rock Hill, SC; his siblings-in-law, Marcia Newbrough (Bob) of Weirton, WV, Mishal Hawthorne (Mike) of Weirton, WV, Beth Tomasovich of Washougal, WA and Mike Tomasovich (Nancy) of Atlanta, GA.; and his godson Pierre Cuffy of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Dr. Kim Bryan Carey's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
