She was predeceased by : her parents, Dr. Paul Holland and Helen Price (Tapp); her husband Robert B. Taft; her son Stuart P. Taft; and her sister Helen Colborn.

She is survived by : her friends, Carolyn Zinn, Donna Jeffries and Libby Porter; her children, Robert B. Taft, Jr. (Jenny) and Holly Scotchel; her grandchildren, Robert B. Taft, III, Juliet C. Taft, Nicole K. Scotchel and John C. Scotchel, III (Ashley); and her siblings, Joann Albright and Dr. Paul H. Price (Jeanne).

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be made in Louise's memory to St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 3346 University Avenue, Morgantown, WV 26505.
