He was predeceased by : his parents, Spencer Wade and Merele Mayfield (Utt); his wife Betty Mayfield (Blaney); his son Ronald Mayfield; and his son-in-law James Yoke.

He is survived by : his daughter Karen Mayfield Yoke; his grandchildren, Stephanie Mayfield, Amy Heyman, Dr. Kristen Farling and Jay Yoke; his great grandchildren, Heather Johnson, Emma Heyman, Madison Heyman, Hannah and Carlee Johnson; and his daughter-in-law Nancy Mayfield.
