He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ralph Johnston, Kenneth Johnston, Billie Stump, Carol Dalton and Van Johnston.
He is survived by: his wives, Patricia Cooper and Pat Johnston; his children, Mitchell Andrew Johnston (Karen Sue) of Martinsburg, WV and Tracy Louise Fisanick (Eric) of Windber, PA; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Tabitha, Josiah, Gideon, Enoch Johnston and Helena Fisanick; and his siblings, Joyce Carre, Fay Conner, Barbara Alderman, Mary Ann Cox, Robert Johnston and Douglas Johnston.
