He was predeceased by : his parents, Pearl Garrod Carter (Houlettte) and Wilfred Carter; and his siblings, Dorothy Whitaker, Mary Flowers, Henry, Wilber, George Garrod (Judd), Louise Webber, Edith Ward, Willis Carter, Marie DeLashmutt, Erma Rinkleib, Gertrude Jacks, Lois Carter and Esther Reed.
He is survived by : his wife Betty Jane Noling Carter; his sons, Roben Carter (Bonnie) of East Liverpool, OH and Dennis Carter of Berlin Center, OH; his grandchildren, John G. Carter (Melissa) of East Liverpool, Roben L. Carter II (Marlene) of Salem, Christina M. Carter of Berlin Center, Katherine Dodd-Carter of Kinsman and Nicole L. Carter of Austintown; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Olivia, Emily, Zack, Issac, Timothy, Isabel, Matthew, Destiny, Haily, Chase and Bobby; and his sons, Jackson, Luke and Myles.
