Carpenter; his children, William Jr. Haywood (Dorothy), Tracy Haywood, Jennifer Smith (Wesley) and Rachel Ulbright (Dave); his grandchildren, Shawn McClellan, Samantha, Jake, Josh, Zach Smith, Hunter and Katie Ulbright; his brother Pat Haywood (Barbara); and his half-sister Cindy McElroy (Glenn).
