He is survived by: his wife Marge Kennedy Layman; his children, Michele (Rick Stuckey), Nelson Layman Jr. of Clarksburg and Tammy Jo Akers of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Cystal Carr of Mt. Clare, Ryan Stuckey of Ohio, Christopher Hooten of Clarksburg, Amy (Ben Plemons), Jackie (Justin Mardis), Michael (Bethany Stuckey), Mary Beth Borgan of Florida, Britt Mattatall of Fairmont and Teresa Mattatall of Florida; his great grandchildren, Zoey Carr, Kaylynn Hooten, Lily Taylor, Jared Mardis, Jackson Plemons, Dahlia Plemons and James Stuckey; and his siblings, William (Carol Layman), Laveda McKinney of Fairmont, Rex (Susie Layman) and Ellen Swiger of Fairmont.
