He was predeceased by : his son-in-law Doug Darrow; his siblings, Anna, Rosario and Nicolo; and his parents, Ignacio Salvo and Palma Salvo.

He is survived by : his wife Dixie Salvo; his children, Ignatius Salvo (Karen) of Newton Falls, Palma Hill (Gary) of Eastlake, Carmela Hill (Dennis) of Streetsboro and Rosanne Darrow of Exton, Pennsylvania.; his grandchildren, Lauren Cohen (Dan) of University Heights, Spencer Hill, Jared Hill and Matthew Hill of Eastlake, Ohio.; and his sister Mary Sicurella (Rosario) of Montreal.
