He is survived by : his wife Shirley L. Ayers; his daughters, Misty Jo Bateman (Jimmy) of Mechanicsville, MD and Mindy Jo Blado (David) of Mechanicsville, MD; his siblings, Charles Ayers (Maryanne) of Port Tobacco, MD, Rex Ayers Sr. (Carolyn) of Mechanicsville, MD, Kay Cantrell of Chaptico, MD, Deanna Welch of Louisa, VA and Rita Cusick (Wayne) of La Plata, MD; his grandchildren, Aeric O'Neil, Logan Blado, Cierra Roulette (Kyle) and Skye Blado; and his great grandchild Kyle Roulette.
