She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett H. McAvoy and Elva E. McAvoy (Bible); her sister Faye Alta Cox; and her sister-in-law Linda McAvoy (Cheshire). She is survived by: her siblings, Roger L. McAvoy (Lori) of Maysville, WV and Constance M. Brown of Cumberland, MD; and her pet Art DeMasi of Keyser.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith Funeral Home ~ Keyser Chapel (85 S Main St, Keyser, WV 26726). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Harness Run Community Church Building Fund, 17516 Patterson Creek Road, Burlington, WV 26710.
