He was predeceased by: his parents, Vess Adams and Carrie McKinney Adams; and his siblings, Sheldon, William Adams, Mary Triplett, Loretta Griffith, Charlotte Kelly, Rebecca Young, June Maness and Gloria Savage.
He is survived by: his wife Dreama Hunnicutt Adams; his children, Bryan Adams (Veronica) and Jacqueline Apple (Bret); his grandchildren, Aaron Adams, Sean Adams (Stephanie), Erica Schaef (Sawyer) and Staci Cooper (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Emma, Annika, James, Cami, Xander, Rowan and Ian; his brother Mike; and his sister-in-law Jackie Kitchen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Kouns Family Cemetery.
