It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Louise Starkey of New Martinsville, West Virginia, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilbert Fuchs and Bertha Fuchs (Rine); her husband Kenneth Starkey; her sister Ruth Fuchs; and her niece Carrie Fuchs.

She is survived by : her daughters, Scarlet Hood (David) and Karen Pegg (Tom); her siblings, Paul Fuchs and Wilma Fuchs of New Martinsville, WV; her grandchildren, Kendra Dutton (Craig), Michael Hood, Aaron Pegg, Devin Hood, Shelden Hood and Kyle Pegg; and her great grandchild Conley Dutton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
