It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Michael Rice of New Martinsville, West Virginia, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil B. Rice and Goldie M. Rice (King); and his siblings, Herbert Rice, Roger Rice, Carrie Ellison, Betty Teagarden, Mickey Rice, Oscar Rice, Virgie Kuhns and Jack Rice.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy and Lucy Hostuttler; and his siblings, Gerald Rice (Georgie) of Littleton, WV, Jerry Rice of New Martinsville, WV, Mary Gail Watson of Hundred, WV and Suzie Gonzalez (Mitchell) of New Martinsville, WV. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Homes (1224 S Bridge St, New Martinsville, WV 26155). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home - New Martinsville (1224 S Bridge St, New Martinsville, WV 26155). A burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Northview Cemetery (219 WV-2, New Martinsville, WV 26155).
