She was loved and cherished by many people including : her son Brian Tristani of Green Bay, WI; her sister Diana Sabo-Huggins of Myrtle Beach; her granddaughters, Abby, Anna and Ella Tristani; her niece Natalie Kirkland; her stepchildren, David, Jesse, Dana and Jennifer; her stepgrandchildren, Joe, Isabelle, Ike, Emily, Katherine, Olivia, Grace and Chafen; her husband George Claypoole; her stepgrandson Max Bacon; her daughter-in-law Gina Tristani; her brother Brad Sabo; her friend Sheila; and her mother Freda.

The family has requested that, instead of sending flowers or gifts, donations be made in support of dementia research.
