It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Jean Scott (Norton, West Virginia), born in Coalton, West Virginia, who passed away on June 21, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Herbert and Alice Reilly Blankenship; her husband Marvin Eugene Scott; her son Mark Phillip Bennett, Sr.; and her sisters, Lillian Charlene Scott and Pauline Jeanette Crozier.
She is survived by: her siblings, John Reilly Blankenship of Norton, Willard Allen "Bill" Blankenship of Darlington, MD and Bernice Olive Yeager of Darlington, MD; and her grandchildren, Mark Phillip Bennett, Jr. (Tara) of Lewisburg, Point Pleasant of Lewisburg, David Lee Bennett of Lewisburg, Candie Benedict (Cooper) of Lewisburg and Christina Frias of Lewisburg.
