She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Butler and Lydia Elizabeth Butler (Talbert); her husband Paul Thorne; her daughter Ruth Ann Thorne; and her brothers, Charles, John, Harry, Clarence and Ernest Butler.

She is survived by : her children, Judy Kuhn (Roger) of Florida and Jimmy Thorne (Claudette) of Belington; her grandchildren, Jason (Daniel Thompson), Craig, Mike, Jade Thorne Meagher (Tim) and Izak (Cash Thorne); and her great grandchildren, Chace, Sara and Christian. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
