It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arcelius Dunbar Lyle Jr. of Paden City, West Virginia, born in New Martinsville, West Virginia, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arcelius Dunbar Sr. and Virginia Naomi Lyle; and his brothers, Donald Keith of New Kensington and Richard Edward Lyle of New Kensington. He is survived by: his children, Arcelius III of Hagerstown, MD, Elga Lyle of Philadelphia, Nadine Nie of Hagerstown, MD and Benjamin Lyle of Hagerstown, MD; his siblings, Patricia Bullock of Arlington Va, Rev. Barbara Thomas (Roger) of Lower Burrell, Ruth Johnson of New Kensington, Lynn Lyle of Raleigh, NC, Garry Lyle of St. Petersburg, FL, David Lyle (Adrianne) of Jeannette, PA and Robert Lyle (Luann) of New Kensington; and his close friend Lynn Douglas of Williamsport, MD. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, cousins, nieces & nephews.
