She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Jeran and Anna Cecilia Jeran; her husband Charles B. Hughes; and her siblings, Robert Jeran of Buckhannon, WV, Joseph Jeran of Elkins, WV and Virginia Lester of Morgantown.

She is survived by : her children, Thomas F. Hughes (Bre), Robert M. Hughes (Elizabeth), Mary V. Maskell (Kevin), Charles H. Hughes (Jan Dils), James R. Hughes (Karen) and Dr. Anna E. Hughes; her grandchildren, Kameron Hughes, Taylor Hughes, Steffan Hughes, Kathleen Woodyard (Jason), Joseph Hughes (Alisha), Philip Hughes (Alicia), Leah Bataineh (Zak), Lauren Weber, John Weber (Sydney), Peyton Hughes, Max Hughes, Hayden Hughes and Spencer Hughes; and her close friends, Kelli Anderson, Monsignor Jeremiah McSweeney, Jean Mewshaw, Randi Ward and Angie White. She is also survived by her fifteen great-grandchildren.
