He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil C. Adams and Enid M. Dotson Adams; and his sister Claudia M. Adams. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Holbert Adams; his son Mark Adams; and his grandchildren, Andrea Williams (Brian), Mark Alan Adams II, Rhonda Reed (J. D.) and Michael Wilburn (Karie). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
