He was predeceased by: his stepmother Nancy Harper Winters Buckley; and his siblings, Johnny Winters, Dick Winters and Candy Kirby. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathi S. Sayre (Bill) and Julia A. Terrell (Randy); his sister Sabra VanFossen (Roy); and his granddaughters, Leah E. Sayre "Leap" and Emily G. Terrell "E. G.". He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
