He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Marvin and Mae Maxwell Duty; and his siblings, Howard Duty and Evelyn Randolph. He is survived by: his wife Nancy C. Bruce Duty; his children, Brenda M. Duty Wilcox (Tim) of Raleigh, NC, Ted Duty (Nancy) of Georgia and Douglas Duty (Pam) of Taylor Mill, KY; his grandchildren, Kristen Shafer (Nic), Heather Evans (Bryce), Brooke Cox (Tanner), Sophie Duty, Collin Duty, Tyler Duty (Shelby), Morgan Duty (Alex), Bethany Underwood (Wes) and Ryan Wilcox (Phoebe); and his great grandchildren, Kynsley, Everleigh, Maverick, Beckham and Audrey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home of Parkersburg (400 Green St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
