She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virgil "Jiggs" Poe and Wilma Heflin Poe; her grandparents, Roy, Nina Poe, Harley Heflin and Effie Davisson Heflin; her sister Carla Jean Poe; her pets, Kitty, Katy, Taddy, Tommy, Beau, Gary, Sonny, Eddy, Davey, Tippy, Lucy and LeeRoy; her grandmother Kathy; her nephew Josh; her brother Larry; her siblings' children, Jason and Lindsay; her cousins, Steve, Tammy, Debbie, Kim, Jenny, Dave, Doug, Rhonda, Carla, Rob, Linda, Beth, Jeff, Joanna, Robert and Sherry; her aunt Ethel; and her great-aunt Mary.
She also helped to care for her father as he succumbed to the ills of Parkinson's disease.
