It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth R. Hickenbottom (Parkersburg, West Virginia), who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Hickenbottom and Evonne Hickenbottom; his wife Kim Morrison; his daughters, Kenzie and Kristina Heitz (Devin); his grandson Micah; his sister Kimberly Wallace (Steve); and his mother-in-law Betty Morrison. He was also cherished by children and spouses and 4 grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (1934 Dupont Rd, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at the Sunset Memory Gardens (1934 Dupont Rd, Parkersburg, WV 26101).
