It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marjorie Ann Montgomery of Parkersburg, West Virginia, born in Beaver, Ohio, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Ray and Byeanna Richmond Akers; her husband Jackie Wayne Montgomery; and her siblings, Andrew, Charles, Danny Akers and Virginia Akers.

She is survived by : her children, Jeffrey Montgomery (Teresa) of Elizabeth City, NC and Molly Montgomery of Powell, OH; her grandchildren, Devan (Ryan), Robby and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Warren and Jack; and her siblings, David Akers of Parkersburg and Rita Yost of Parkersburg.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
