She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elbert and Edith E. Kirkbride Carpenter; her husband Calvin A. Calendine; and her siblings-in-law, Richard C. Silman, Richard H. Calendine, Warren Settle Frank and Pauline Calendine Frank.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Ann Burke (Jeffrey) of Parkersburg, John William Calendine (Jane Gorrell) of Parkersburg and Connie Sue McKain (Mark) of Parkersburg; her grandchildren, Mary Katherine Burke Bailey (Tony) of Ripley, WV, Jeffrey Burke, Jr. (Whitney Orr) of Ellenboro, WV, Sarah Calendine Wilson (Alex) of Odenton, MD, Meridith McKain of Parkersburg, Hannah McKain and Elizabeth McKain of Columbus, OH; her great grandchildren, Bradley and Jacob Burke; and her sisters-in-law, Josephine Calendine Silman of Floresville, TX and Georgeann Allard Calendine of Vero Beach, FL.. She is also survived by 6 step grandchildren; 17 step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
