It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norma Jean Wharff of Parkersburg, West Virginia, born in Munday, West Virginia, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl VanDale and Artis Francis Hogue (Startcher); her granddaughter Stephanie Casto; her siblings, Danny Earl VanDale and Barbra Ann Lynch; her brother-in-law Bill Vannoy; and her stepfather Ted Chutes.
She is survived by : her daughters, Debra Carr of Ohio and Tamela (Sean Knight) of Kentucky; her grandchildren, Nickalis Layne (Victoria Knight) of Kentucky, Tanner Wade Knight of Kentucky and Shelbie Diane Knight of Kentucky; her great grandchildren, Tyler Perkins of Ohio and Ezra James Knight of Kentucky; her siblings, Ray Startcher (Sharon) of West Virginia, Betty Vannoy of Ohio, Wayne Hogue and Bill Hogue of West Virginia; and her nieces and nephews, Mark, Karen Pugh, Laura, Mike Baker, Randal Lynch, Timmy VanDale and Tommy Satterfield. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and extended family.
